چکیده
this paper investigates the radiative absorptivity of a spherical cavity by using monte carlo techniques. several parameters such as the angle of incoming radiation which inters the cavity for both diffuse wall cavity and specular wall cavity has been investigated. the absorptivity of a spherical cavity has been calculated and compared with the exact values when the angle of incoming radiation is about 45° ,60° ,75° ,120° .this paper demonstrates that the monte carlo technique is a powerful method to calculate the radiative absorptivity

Test of Mie-based single-scattering properties of non-spherical dust aerosols in radiative flux calculations
We simulate the single-scattering properties (SSPs) of dust aerosols with both spheroidal and spherical shapes at a wavelength of 0.55mm for two refractive indices and four effective radii. Herein spheres are defined by preserving both projected area and volume of a non-spherical particle. It is shown that the relative errors of the spheres to approximate the spheroids are less than 1% in the e...
متن کاملLennard-Jones Potential inside a Spherical Cavity
The Lennard-Jones potential for an atom inside a conducting spherical cavity is derived. The interest is in possible anomalous effects near the focal point of a cavity viewed as a spherical mirror. We find a smooth dependence of the potential on the distance of the atom from the surface of the cavity. 1 Plane Mirror and the C3 coefficient Let us consider first a plane mirror, assumed to lie in ...
متن کاملQCD Calculations of Radiative B Decays
The current status of B̄ → Xsγ decay rate calculations is summarized. Missing ingredients at the NNLO level are listed. The global normalization factor and non-perturbative effects are discussed. Arguments are presented that results for the cutoff-enhanced perturbative corrections have been misused in Ref. [15] by applying them in the region Eγ ∈ [1.0, 1.6]GeV, which means that the corresponding...
متن کاملRelativistic Radiative Transfer for Spherical Flows
We present a new complete set of Lagrangian relativistic hydrodynamical equations describing the transfer of energy and momentum between a standard fluid and a radiation fluid in a general non-stationary spherical flow. The new set of equations has been derived for a particular application to the study of the cosmological Quark–Hadron transition but can also be used in other contexts.
متن کاملDynamic electrophoretic mobility of a sphere in a spherical cavity.
Dynamic electrophoresis is a powerful analytical tool for the description of the surface properties of the charged entities in a concentrated dispersion. In our study the boundary effect on this dynamic phenomenon is investigated theoretically for the case, when the surface potential is low. In particular, the dynamic electrophoresis of a sphere in a spherical cavity is discussed as are the eff...
متن کاملElectromagnetophoresis of a Colloidal Sphere in a Spherical Cavity
The quasi-steady electromagnetophoretic motion of a spherical colloidal particle positioned at the center of a spherical cavity filled with a conducting fluid is analyzed at low Reynolds number. Under uniformly applied electric and magnetic fields, the electric current and magnetic flux density distributions are solved for the particle and fluid phases of arbitrary electric conductivities and m...
